Therapy
My therapeutic work is grounded in two overarching principles: mindfulness-based approaches and culturally competent practices. I provide therapeutic approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Self-Compassion techniques, Guided Imagery, Trauma Sensitive Yoga, and other Somatic based interventions.

LGBTQ+ Counseling
LGBTQ Counseling includes an approach to therapy that embraces a positive view of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (LGBTQ) identities and relationships and addresses the negative influences that homophobia, transphobia, and heterosexism have on the lives of LGBTQ clients.

Trauma
It takes courage to be willing to work through trauma. I take a trauma informed approach with any client I support, and it is especially true for those ready to heal from trauma. I am intentional in providing a safe and supportive space in order to establish a sense of safety, the foundation for healing.
